About Us
Established in September 2022, BioCRF(GZ) is a central experimental platform aiming to facilitate pioneering biosciences studies. Usage area covers over 2,500 square meters. We provide high configured equipment which belongs to 10 experimental cores, including Imaging, Proteomics & Metabolomics, Genomics, High Throughput Screening, Flow Cytometry and Cell Culture, Histology, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Synthetic Biology, Structural Biology, General Equipment.

Imaging
The Microscopy Core offers access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment and cutting-edge analysis tools for researchers. The core is equipped with a diverse array of technologies, including Wide Field, Total Internal Reflectance Fluorescence (TIRF), Microinjector, Confocal, Spinning Disk Confocal, High Content Screener, Light Sheet, Multi-photon, Slide Scanner, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Live Cell, and Super-Resolution Imaging. The Flow Cytometry and Cell Culture Core is a full-service cell function analysis platform. This core is equipped with cell sorter, 3D bioprinter, electroporation system, microelectrode array system and essential cell culture facilities such as class II biosafety cabinets, incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators/freezers, basic microscopes and automated cell counters. Brain and Cognitive Sciences
The Brain and Cognitive Sciences Core is a collaborative resource platform that provides access to cutting-edge equipment and technical expertise for researchers in fields as diverse as physiology, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computational media and arts, urban governance, and more. Equipment housed in the core to facilitate research and teaching includes electroencephalography (EEG), eye tracking systems, functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), patch clamp systems and Omniplex neural recording systems.
